Frequently Asked Questions

Salt therapy (also known as "halotherapy") is a holistic, drug-free, natural healing therapy that is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal. Using micro particles of salt with 84 natural elements and minerals, salt therapy treats respiratory ailments like asthma, allergies, cold viruses, and inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

When this air is breathed in, it helps to replenish natural elements that your body has lost from the environment due to pollution, stress, and exposure to electromagnetic frequencies that are ever-present in your daily life.

An infrared sauna uses infrared technology to mimic the light naturally produced by the sun. This light penetrates your skin causing your body to heat from within which causes you to sweat. The process of sweating releases stored toxins, cleanses bacteria from the skin, improves circulation and oxygenation through dilation of blood vessels and improved blood flow, releases endorphins which relieves stress and calms our mood and provides relief and recovery for sore muscles, improves sleep, burns calories and lowers blood pressure.

Wait at least 1 – 2 hours after eating before beginning a far infrared sauna session.

Stay Hydrated! A good rule of thumb is to divide your body weight by two and drink a minimum of that many ounces of water on a daily basis. (160 lbs. divided by 2 = 80 ounces of water or eight 10-ounce glasses of water, daily. Drink plenty of good water, fruit juice, iced tea, green tea before, during and after your sauna routine.

Everyone is different. You may not sweat a lot during your first 2-3 sauna sessions. This is normal for many people, as they haven't had a recent history of sweating.
