Rebecca Cohen, MFT Intern
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions—those tender moments when everything feels unfamiliar, and you’re not sure how to move forward. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, the breakdown of a relationship, or the quiet ache of unmet expectations, I help people reclaim meaning, strengthen connections, and rewrite their story with honesty and compassion. Before therapy, I spent years in early childhood education, drawn to the way families grow, struggle, and love through messy seasons. My own passion for reading and storytelling led me to narrative therapy, where I found a powerful truth: your story isn’t over just because something changed—it’s evolving. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing happens in safe, authentic connection. I won't rush your grief or offer quick fixes. Instead, we’ll explore the meaning behind your experiences and gently create space for resilience, love, and hope to take root. I show up fully—curious, grounded, and always ready to meet you where you are. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University (graduating December 2025) and working under supervision as a therapy intern. My clinical experience includes grief counseling, couples and family therapy, addiction recovery, adolescent mental health, and working with families involved in DCF.
