Kundalini yoga is a spiritual practice that involves breathing, chanting, meditation, and poses to awaken the kundalini energy.
How is kundalini yoga practiced?
- Kundalini yoga classes often include sets with different poses, breathing techniques, and mantras
- Between sets, there’s time to relax and focus inward
- After the set, there’s relaxation, meditation and mantra
What are the benefits of kundalini yoga?
- Can enhance physical health, clear energy channels, and oxygenate the blood

Bio:
A lifelong Connecticut resident, and UCONN alumnus, Alison has spent three decades providing healthcare and wellness services to her neighbors. She specializes in the care of adults with complex health care needs. With a focus in neuroscience, and an evidence based approach to practice, she provides care targeting the health and function of the brain as well as the body. In 2018, Alison founded her own Nurse Practitioner service, APRN4U LLC and has been a longtime practitioner at Bridge Healing Arts Center.
