Classes are postponed until January. Date and time TBA

Winter Gardeners Book Club

A fun and lively discussion group to discuss Herbal/Earthy related books together

With Jennifer Lima, owner of Bella Vita Alchemy

10/24/24 to 4/24/25 – Second and Fourth Thursdays – 6:30pm to 8pm
(no obligation to attend every discussion-come as often as you wish)

Do you love books? Are you often looking for people to discuss literature with?

This month’s book topic:  “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Please purchase the book and read one chapter prior to each class (amount of chapters read may vary depending on groups needs).

Why a book club? Book clubs come with hidden bonuses, LOTS of them:

1. You read books you wouldn’t normally pick up.
2. You learn how other readers think, which makes your own reading better.
3. Your knowledge gets a massive boost.
4. You get to socialize and be in the energy of like minds.
5. You get to give yourself permission to take time out to read.

What participants should bring

Purchase the book and/or audiobook (the author narrates the audio version and is wonderful).  Please read chapter one before the first meeting.  Bring your thoughts and be ready for conversation.  We will choose a second book to read in January.

You can participate in this book club either in person or virtually. Please indicate your preference in the registration. Please note that the first 12 registrants will be able to attend each meeting in person and the rest will need to join virtually. Link has not changed.

Event Fee: $10 per meeting OR $120 for entire series (with $10 discount added)
Payment link: https://buy.stripe.com/bIYcQ22QM6NFf966op

(option to pay per session or for whole series with $10 discount)
RSVP deadline: Two days prior to each class

(no obligation to attend every discussion-come as often as you wish)
