Yoga For Healthy Bones And Joints

Yoga is well known for the health enhancing effects that it has upon body and mind.
Years of research has shown that yoga, when practiced in a particular way, is a helpful
therapy for improving bone density, relieving back pain, and improving the mobility and
strength of our joints.
• Learn basic concepts of the anatomy of your bones and joints
• Understand how this approach to yoga improves bone and joint health
• Practice beginning level postures with the creative use of yoga props to help you to achieve the best possible experience for your body
What to bring:  yoga mat, strap, one yoga block and yoga blanket. Mats, blankets and yoga blocks can be provided.

Instructor: Robin Kirsche, E-RYT  Robin has thirty years of experience practicing and teaching yoga. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist with specialties in yoga for osteoporosis, arthritis, and health promotion throughout the lifespan.

Pre-pay and register by noon on April 1st.  Class size will be LIMITED to 15 people.

Please wear comfortable clothes with layers to keep you warm or cool!
