Ann McAdams, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Ann is a compassionate LCSW with a mission to guide individuals through life’s challenges and tap into their resiliency. Specializing in anxiety, depression, and mother/daughter bonds, Ann also supports clients through wellness coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy, and addressing the unique pressures faced by immigrants dealing with cultural differences.
Her client focus spans from middle school and up, with a specialization in helping middle school aged children (ages12-15) who struggle with feelings of not being loved as they needed to be, perfectionism, boundaries, and the desire for an enhanced spiritual connection through holistic care.
Ann describes her therapeutic style as easy-going and flexible, employing creative tools like games and walking to create a comfortable environment. She is personable and believes in working on the “ANTS” (Automatic Negative Thoughts) to help clients focus on the positive aspects of life while healing.
Works with parents of autistic children, middle/high school students and adults using CBT/mindfulness.
