Canei Adger, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
I specialize in working with children and adolescents to help them gain a deeper understanding, heightened awareness, and valuable skills to manage a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and communication challenges.
My passion lies in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families as they embark on their therapeutic journeys. I believe in guiding and supporting them through the healing process.
My journey in the field of social work has taken me to various settings. I interned with the Department of Children and Families at The Albert J. Solnit Children’s Center, where I provided treatment to adolescent males between the ages of 13 and 17 with complex psychiatric needs. I also worked with the Wheeler Clinics intensive in-home adolescent and psychiatric services (IICAPS) program. This program is a family-focused treatment initiative aimed at helping children and adolescents up to age 18 who have complex psychological and behavioral needs, either returning from or at risk for hospitalization or placement in a residential treatment facility.
