My overall approach with my work is treating specific areas of concern as well as the entire body to assist the body with its natural healing process. Many times the source of pain or discomfort can be found somewhere other than the pain site.
I listen to the client’s descriptions, assess the issues, treat, and reassess.
I graduated from massage school, The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (now The Cortiva Institute) in 2012. I’ve worked in many settings from spas to chiropractic offices.
I created my own practice in 2013 and have studied many modalities of massage and bodywork since.
Teaching was the next step in my growth and and I’ve been instructing classes ranging from anatomy, kinesiology, pathology, and massage related courses at the Cortiva Institute for the last several years.
I enjoy helping others live a healthier lifestyle through the use of soft tissue manipulation and postural balancing.
None of my treatments are the same and I customize each session to the client using a wide array of techniques and modalities. Much of my work is centered around deep tissue work, myofascial release techniques, orthopedic massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Whether the goal is to destress, increase range of motion and function, decrease pain, or assist with other body system functions, my goal is to help those reach theirs.
